Following FKA Twigs' legal allegations against ex Shia Labeouf, the singer gets into a heated argument with actress Margaret Qualley.

FKA TWigs, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, first revealed her shocking allegations against Labeouf in September 2021. Margaret Qualley, who briefly dated Labeouf, was quick to show her support to the singer by posting the cover of Twigs on Elle Magazine, captioned "Thank you."

The actor later told Harper's Bazaar that she posted the cover because, "It was important to me for her to know that I believe her - and it's as simple as that."

Twigs and Qualley had reportedly exchanged messages, to which the actor had agreed to be a witness in the case, which is set to go to trial in April 2023.

However, despite Qualley's public show of support, Twigs believed that "she didn't appear willing to throw herself into the suit as actively" as the singer had hoped. Notably, the two exes had no connection to each other before the allegations against Labeouf.

Page Six reported that the two had "happened to run into each other" at a luxury hotel in Los Angeles. Sources are unclear on who approached whom, but the pair got into an "intense verbal dispute" over the legal case against Labeouf. Qualley's fiancé, singer Jack Antonoff, came to her defense and joined in with the argument, thus getting the attention of other hotel guests.

Insiders say that Qualley were both "left shaken" by the incident. As of now, there have been no comments from both Qualley and Twigs' representatives.

Labeouf's History of Violence

From her interview with Elle, Twigs detailed her experience of sexual battery, assault and infliction of emotional distress by ex-boyfriend Labeouf.

One incident in the lawsuit occurred in 2019, where LaBeouf had been driving recklessly, threatening to crash the car if Twigs did not profess her love for the actor. According to the lawsuit, she begged to be let out of the car, and after pulling over at a gas station, Labeouf followed her out then assaulted her, throwing her against the car. Another episode happened when the the "Transformers" star allegedly raged out and woke Twigs up one night and choked her.

LaBeouf has since denied "each and every allegation" in the lawsuit. The only comment he had made about the allegations were in an email he had sent to The New York Times, saying: "I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalizations".
