Internet users on Reddit believe they have identified the cause, and they debated it on the online forum.

One user observed Kylie posting a TikTok video in which she was testing out a new product from her Kylie Cosmetics line and commented, "Guys, trust me, sales are down." Kris Jenner asked her to be involved, so she is."

Others appeared to agree or see the reasoning behind her actions, with a second individual stating that it explains the necessity for her beauty line's lavish launch party, to which she invited numerous influencers who offered "glowing reviews and tons of marketing."

Another criticized her marketing staff, saying that people are sick of Kylie hawking lip kits on her overdone lips.

"This worked earlier, but it's like...they keep changing the packaging but not the marketing plan," a fourth individual added.

"Her creating these short films no longer works. And, as we've seen, she's still struggling with tik tok."
