A SKIMS customer filed a complaint and lawsuit against Kim Kardashian's company, alleging that their body tape caused her physical and mental agony.

According to court records acquired by Radar Online, Noelle Mahasin Smith is suing SKIMS for not making the body tape as safe as "technologically and economically feasible."

The complaint also said that SKIMS is to blame for "the pain."

Smith alleges that SKIMS' tape cut her flesh and that the business did not design the tape adequately and even used the improper materials.

The court docs also inquired whether Kim Kardashian's shapewear brand tested the body tape to ensure that what clients use is safe.

The complainant further claimed that SKIMS refused to alert the public about the "hazardous body tape," instead continuing to market the product.

Smith allegedly experienced emotional and physical suffering when her skin was damaged as a result of the contentious footage. She blames the corporation for her agony and incompetence.

Smith allegedly claimed more than $75,000 in damages and stated that she will continue to suffer in the coming years as a result of the medical care costs.

The tape is not yet accessible on the website as of this writing.

Is Kim Kardashian in Trouble?

Kim Kardashian, on the other hand, may not be in trouble.

A SKIMS representative who spoke with Radar discovered that the buyer ordered a "fake tape" from Amazon. This merchant was not a licensed or approved retailer of their items.

"Unfortunately, counterfeit items have become typical for the brand, and we strongly urge our clients to only buy from SKIMS.com or any of our legitimate retail partners listed on our website to guarantee that they receive products that exceed our quality requirements."

SKIMS Tape by Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian's contentious SKIMS tape, also known as the Tonal Body Tape & Pasties, made news in 2019, with some well-known influencers wearing it on social media.

In the past, women utilized duct tape, masking tape, and any other tape to get the ideal cleavage.

Despite the burns and rips she received, Kim continued to suffer. She may come up with her remedy a few years later.

According to the company, the body tape is designed with a tiny stretch to move with the body and give maximum support.

The product garnered positive feedback not only from influencers but also from everyday ladies. A roll of tape is said to last a long time and comes in a variety of skin tone hues.
