Is John Cena dead?

Cena became the latest victim of hoax death rumors after tweets about the WWE star's passing emerged. It was not the first time the wrestler sparked similar rumors as internet users also talked about it in the 2010s.

But this time, the "John Cena dead" topic went viral due to the 2016 false reports that he died in a car accident.

In addition, The Sun noted the growing number of false posts on Facebook in Myanmar, Cambodia, and Bangladesh. They even had images that were allegedly taken at his funeral.

AFP fact check immediately dismissed the claims and said the photos were manipulated and falsified.

He has not commented on the reports yet, but the wrestler-turned-actor is currently busy with his upcoming two films, "Coyote v Acme" and "Argylle."

Cena also takes his time to appear in WWE Monday Night RAW and WWF Smackdown.

The recent death hoax followed the recent death rumors that claimed the passing of several known personalities, including Oprah Winfrey, Michael J. Fox, Jaden Smith, Snoop Dogg, and Santan Dave.

John Cena Walked Out on WWE Raw?

Amid the death hoax, Cena sparked controversy for reportedly leaving Mr. Money in the Bank, Theory, alone despite the wrestler's attempt to take a selfie with him.

In June, Cena received condemnation due to the selfie incident during his WWE Raw's 20th-anniversary celebration. But Theory said that fans only got a wrong idea of it.

"I know when I took my selfie with John Cena, a lot of people say he walked away, but you can't see him," he said, per Wrestling Inc. "So, I mean, I don't know. Sometimes I get some guys that I'll be messing around, go to take the selfie and they'll just flip me off."

Meanwhile, Kevin Nash recently sat for an interview on the latest episode of the "Kliq This" podcast. He disclosed that he gave Cena helpful advice about wearing shirts.

Fans surely notice that the WWE star always wears larger shirts, and Nash was the reason behind it.

The WWE Hall of Famer said that wearing a baggy t-shirt would make the audience cheer them on more since it would surprise them with their good physique.

With that, Cena has always been wearing the oversized t-shirt throughout his career.
