One of the eye-opening reasons was after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Teigen told her husband that she felt bad for other people who have an abortion because of the emotional stress they had to go through.

John Legend later made her realize that she herself also got an abortion, leading her to become silent and had a weird feeling inside her that didn't make sense.

At first, she told the public that she had a miscarriage and that's what news outlets published to the world. Teigen became "frustrated" because she didn't reveal that it was an abortion and it was silly for her that it took a year before she realize what she's done.
