Naomi Judd had a secret voice recording before she committed suicide.

The legal battle over the release of the details regarding Naomi's suicide continues as her family wants the judge to block the release of the information.

A news outlet revealed that it obtained the transcript of the August 30 hearing in Tennessee, during which the Judd family begged the court to prevent the release of the police records related to the crooner's passing.

According to their lawyer, he did not believe the news outlets would release the information. Instead, the other "sordid news organizations" would likely release them to the public.

"Maybe that attitude is going to change if people realize that two weeks after they talk to the police about the suicide of their loved one, the very words that they speak are going to show up on YouTube tomorrow. That's a public interest," the lawyer went on.

The representative also noted that one piece of evidence includes an audio recording Naomi made before her death. The lawyer clarified it was not a 911 call recording when the judge asked what the audio recording was.

As of press time, the Judd family is still fighting over the aforesaid evidence in court.

Fight Over Naomi Judd's Evidence Far From Over

The new update came after several outlets attempted to obtain the 911 calls from Tennessee law enforcement. They believe it could reveal what happened to Naomi months before she committed suicide.

But the authorities have announced that those details would not be publicized and be available to the public.

In May, Public Information Officer Williamson said in a statement to Us Weekly that details about the investigation would not be released.

Naomi Judd died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head on April 30. Deadline shared the autopsy report obtained by The Associated Press, revealing that there was also the presence of prescription drugs when she shot herself with a gun.

The medications in question were reportedly for the singer's post-traumatic stress and bipolar disorders. According to her family, Naomi was treated for mental health issues for years before her death.

Meanwhile, her daughter Ashley Judd revealed on ABC's "Good Morning America" that her mother used a firearm to kill herself. She did not reveal further details about the suicide at that time.
