Nicola Peltz apparently has a new moniker, and she's loving it.

According to Closer UK, Brooklyn Beckham's wife adores being referred to as "the new Mrs. Beckham" by fans and press. She supposedly does not understand how this would affect her mother-in-law, Victoria.

Even Brooklyn is allegedly in on the new moniker, as he and his wife believe they are presently the "it couple," thanks to their appearance on magazine covers and attendance at all important events.

"At Paris Fashion Week, she was in her element, holding interviews and relishing in the spotlight - with Brooklyn proudly staring on."

According to the insider, Nicola and Brooklyn are similar to the youthful Posh and Becks, and they are now untouchable.

The insider went on to say that despite their strained relationship, the former "Bates Motel" star has been channeling Posh Spice.

Nicola apparently enjoys making headlines and reaping the benefits of having a renowned surname. The millionaire heiress also appreciates interacting with fashion, which provides her the ability to maintain her style current and new.

"She's even started changing her hair, much as Posh used to," an insider said.

Nicola, although sharing the same surname as Victoria, apparently refuses to be associated with the former Spice Girls singer.

They allegedly fell out when the VB designer changed her mind about producing the blonde model's wedding gown. Nicola instead wore a Valentino gown on her wedding day.

Meanwhile, Nicola Peltz attended Victoria Beckham's fashion show in Paris, according to New Idea, but the two women never spoke a single word.

They haven't buried the hatchet yet, and the insider said it was humiliating for Victoria because Nicola clearly didn't want to speak to her mother-in-law.

The actress also chose to attend Victoria's show because she was already in Paris for other companies. If Nicola went to the other designers' exhibitions instead of VB's, she would be branded as the villain, which is the last thing she wants to happen.

Still, these stories should be taken with a grain of salt.

There is no evidence that Nicola reacted on being dubbed "the new Mrs. Beckham," nor is there any evidence that she only attended Victoria Beckham's fashion presentation to avoid seeming like the bad guy.
