Good news for Adam Sandler fans! The actor just starred in the drama film "Hustle" a few months ago, but he's ready to hit the big screen again as he's reportedly starring in a new movie.

According to Deadline, the "Just Go With It" star will be collaborating with Josh and Benny Safdie again for a yet-to-be-titled movie which will be released on Netflix.

The streaming giant has not revealed any information regarding the project, but sources close to production reveal that the writers are still doing some finishing touches on the script and they plan to start shooting by the second quarter of 2023.

This was not the first time Sandler worked with the siblings as they previously collaborated on the successful A24 film "Uncut Gems" starring Julia Fox, LaKeith Lee Stanfield, Idina Menzel, and many more.

Since the movie was a success, the actor and the producer brothers have been talking about a follow-up project.

In the upcoming film, the Safdie brothers will reportedly write, direct, and produce.

As of this writing, the plot, details, release date, and more information have not been publicized, but insiders confirmed that it would revolve around the world of high-end card collections.

Adam Sandler's Previous Work With Safdie Brothers

According to Hunger TV, Adam Sandler missed out on an Oscar nomination for his work in "Uncut Gems." The story revolves around his character, Howard Rattner, a troubled jeweler.

At the time of its peak, the film became A24's highest-grossing film after amassing a whopping $50 million at the box office, but it was dethroned by "Everything Everywhere All at Once" starring Michelle Yeoh.

Speaking about Josh and Benny Safdie, Sandler commended the siblings for their hard work, saying their "work ethic is bananas."

"They're always working, always writing, always thinking. I don't know what I can tell you, but it's gonna be very exciting. It's different," he previously said about their next project after "Uncut Gems."

The Safdie brothers previously worked with Robert Pattinson for the movie "Good Time" which amassed positive reviews from critics, meaning they have a good track record based on their catalog.

On the other hand, Sandler has grossed a whopping $2 billion at the box office from his previous projects which consists of over 30 movies.
