Drake responded to Amanda Bynes' tweets about him, opening up for the first time about her alleged obsession with him in his cover story for XXL.

He appears on the cover of the hip-hop magazine's August 2013 issue, which celebrates it's 150th issue. The Young Money rapper discussed the recent Twitter comments against him by the former actress. The Canadian native suggested Bynes' Twitter rant could be stemmed from mental issues, but he believes that she does it to get attention from the media.

"I don't even know who is doing that or what that's about," Drake, 26, told the magazine. "If that is her, I guess it's a little weird and disturbing. It's obviously a behavioral pattern that is way bigger than me. Whoever is behind it, whether it's her or somebody else, they know people are paying attention so they keep it going."

Bynes, 27, mentioned the No New Friends rapper on Twitter March 14.

"@drake is a hot fellow :D." Bynes tweeted with a picture of him. A week later she took it up a notch and wrote a raunchy message, saying, "I want @drake to murder my vagina."

According to Funnyordie.com, Drake reportedly responded to her sexually explicit tweet with a raunchy message of his own.

"When I'm done murdering your vagina, can I do an aggravated assault on your butthole?" he reportedly wrote in a tweet that has since been deleted.

"You could be the Moses to my butthole, " the former actress allegedly responded in a tweet, that was also deleted.

Bynes wrote a series of tweets where she mentioned Drake since March.

"Drake Looks Like He Has That Disease Where He Ages Quickly. He Looks 80 Years Old," and "I won't deny calling @drake ugly," she wrote on June 6. "Drake is Ugly," she posted a month later on July 3 and later, "Drake Is The Man Of My Dreams."

Bynes was hospitalized and put on a 5150 psychiatric hold on July 22. Her last tweet about Drake was on July 19.

"Drake Is The Most Gorgeous Man On The Face Of The Earth," she wrote, three days before she was hospitalized.

The former Disney star's parents requested a conservatorship, citing her mental illness. The hearing regarding the matter is set for Aug. 9, when Bynes is released. Bynes previously dated rapper Kid Cudi in 2010 and he severed ties with the actress when she wrote that she prefers "chocolate over vanilla."
