Gisele Bundchen is said to have intended to divorce Tom Brady long before their marital problems became public.

According to papers acquired by The Post, the 42-year-old supermodel bought a Miami house in February of this year, two weeks before Tom chose to come out of retirement and return to the NFL.

The $1.25 million simple home featured three bedrooms and three bathrooms, a far cry from her $27 million residence in the Indian Creek Country Club enclave, which she lived with Tom.

This revelation indicates Gisele was aware she may be divorcing the seven-time Super Bowl champion after he broke his pledge and returned to his first passion, sports.

Gisele filed for divorce from her husband of 13 years on Friday, and they are now officially divorced when the judge signed the dotted line.

After failing to salvage his deteriorating marriage, Tom Brady has become an even bigger laughingstock in the locker room as a result of the filing.

Some of his Tampa Bay Buccaneers colleagues have been publicly snickering that Tom looks like a "henpecked sissy" when he's not on the field, while others wish he'll just quit the game for good.

This comes after he was seen on the field cursing at his colleagues after skipping some pre-season practice to hurl himself at Gisele's feet.

Some of the athletes were allegedly "irritated" by talk of their marriage.

"Others think it very comical that he's this purported Greatest of All Time player, but now is groveling to his wife for one more chance to prove himself," a source remarked before Gisele's petition. "There are some really harsh nicknames and jokes going around," they noted to Radar Online.

Why Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady Delayed Their Divorce

According to Page Six, Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady were prudent to postpone filing for divorce since it allowed them to keep their privacy.

"They very often will settle behind closed doors before they let anyone in," one attorney told the site.

"I believe it's pretty frequent," Jacqueline Newman remarked. It's the more logical approach."

However, it was reported that they were compelled to divorce "fast and quietly" in order to prevent a public feud similar to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's.

Former judge Anthony Bompiani told The Sun that the best course of action was to "keep out of the public glare as much as possible until this matter is resolved."

"Neither of them appear to have that sort of personality, but divorce and custody disputes can bring out the worst in people."
