Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen officially ended their 13 years of marriage.

Weeks after Brady and Bundchen got into marriage woes and sparked divorce rumors, a source told PEOPLE that they agreed to file the documents in Florida on Friday after completing the settlement and terms.

A few hours later, both of them confirmed the development on Instagram, sharing that they went through worse before coming up with the decision.

The 45-year-old shared a lengthy post on Instagram Story, saying that they arrived at a decision amicably. He also assured fans that they would continue working together as parents.

Meanwhile, Bundchen also shared a separate announcement - but fans think she shaded her estranged husband in the statement.

"My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart. We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care, and attention they greatly deserve," part of the Instagram Story post read.

Fans immediately compared it to what the quarterback said, as the athlete expressed how blessed they are to have wonderful children instead of saying that his family is also his priority.

Gisele Bundchen Wanted Tom Brady To Be More Present Before Divorce

The finalization of the divorce came after Bundchen asked Brady several times to quit NFL because she feared for his health and wanted him to spend more time with the family.

In one interview with ELLE for its October issue last year, the matriarch spoke openly about her then-husband's unretirement. At that time, she revealed the reasons why she wanted him to quit NFL.

Bundchen also noted that she, herself, chose her family over her career to shape her children. She never regretted doing it, though, as she felt fulfilled both as a mother and a wife.

Unfortunately, Brady knew what he lacked as he admitted that he had not celebrated Christmas and Thanksgiving in the past 23 years.

Before the finalization of the divorce, Brady had already dropped a hint that he would move forward in his NFL career despite the model's disapproval. He revealed on his podcast, "Let's Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald, and Jim Gray," that he would not retire anytime soon and that he still enjoys playing.
