American singer-songwriter and record producer Ryan Tedder confirmed via a response to a fan's tweet on X that he has written a song for BTS' Jimin.

On Sunday, the OneRepublic frontman and vocalist quoted a tweet thanking him for helping write Blink-182's "Fell in Love." Shortly after, a Jimin fan account asked, "Hey, Ryan. Can I tempt you to write a song with Jimin of BTS? [I] would absolutely love the vision."

Though it took two days before Tedder responded to the tweet, his response brought delight and excitement to ARMYs - BTS fans, especially Jimin stans.

Tedder's tweet in response to the fan account's request has since garnered over 5,300 retweets, 7,500 hearts, 922 bookmarks and 631 replies.

ARMYs couldn't help but share their excitement about this unexpected revelation following the release of the "FACE" artist's "Jimin's Production Diary" last Oct. 23.

One fan noted the hit songs Tedder produced for his band and big-name artists, including "Counting Stars," "Halo," "Rumor Has It," "Maps" and "Angels Like You." The fan said that it makes them all the more excited for his collaboration with Jimin.

"...I watched some of his works on YouTube. They are amazing. He has mastered different genres. [I'm] excited for Jimin to give life to his work. [I'm] not sure what genre it would be. 'Halo' by Beyoncé is so beautiful," another fan commented.

"This is all I've wanted, a Ryan Tedder x BTS member collab," tweeted another. A third fan stated, "We're getting new Jimin music, I'm so happy."

"Give me more details about it. JIMIN MUSIC IS COMING," wrote another excited fan.

As of press time, BigHit Music, BTS' label, has not made any confirmation or announcement about Jimin's new music yet.

Last month, the 27-year-old South Korean artist revealed to Elle Korea that he was making a new song. "I'm working on the song as always. And I want to challenge a variety of genres musically," he said in his interview with the magazine.

He didn't give specific details about the song at the time.

Jimin made his official debut as a soloist with "FACE" on March 24. On his album, he explored different music genres, including pop, hip-hop and R&B.

The BTS member released the making of his solo album, titled "Jimin's Production Diary," on Oct. 23.
