Twenty-eight-year-old BTS member Jimin is one of the members with the most tattoos in the group, alongside his bandmate Jungkook.

So far, the South Korean idol has six tattoos, as seen in his concept photos, performances, live broadcasts and the like. However, there could be more tattoos that he may have kept private, too.

Here are the six tattoos of Jimin known to ARMYs so far:

1. "Nevermind"

Previously, fans thought Jimin's "Nevermind" tattoo on his rib was temporary and just for performances. However, when the tattoo made a reappearance during BTS' "Love Yourself" tour, fans thought that Jimin may have made it permanent.

Fans spotted the tattoo every time Jimin lifted his shirt during performances.

According to one fan, it may be inspired by Suga's song "Intro: Nevermind," which urges young people to never mind the hurtful things others say about them.

2. Number 13

The number 13 holds a special meaning to Jimin because aside from it being his favorite number, it's the day of his birth and BTS' debut, Oct. 13 and June 13, respectively. The "FACE" artist's number 13 tattoo can be found on his left wrist.

It was first spotted by ARMYs -- BTS fans -- during BTS' V LIVE comeback special last February 2020.

3. "Forever Young"

Found above each of Jimin's elbows are the tattoos of the words "Forever" and "Young." They are often seen when the singer wears sleeveless or short-sleeved shirts and tops.

When BTS filmed their "M Countdown" performance in 2020, fans noticed that Jimin had bandages above his elbows, which led to speculations that the singer had new tattoos. Soon after, the tattoos "Forever" and "Young" were seen in different instances, including the group's "In The Soop" series.

Per fan theories, the tattoo may be because the song "Young Forever" holds a special place in the hearts of the BTS members and the ARMYs.

4. "Youth"

Placed behind Jimin's ear is a tattoo saying, "Youth." While Jimin hasn't officially revealed the meaning behind his ink, fans think that it may be inspired by the concept of youth that BTS often talks about in its songs.

5. BTS' friendship tattoo

Jimin had his group's "7" friendship tattoo on his index finger. Like a puzzle piece, when put together with his bandmates' individual "7" tattoo designs, the members' tattoos will form "BTS."

Jimin's BTS friendship tattoo made an official debut on Weverse in June 2022. He wrote in his post, "I wanted to show you while I'm holding the mic, but because my hands are too small, it turned out that it wasn't visible when I held the mic. Hehehe."

"With a disappointed heart, I'm posting a picture of it," he added.

6. Phases of the moon

On his bandmate Jungkook's birthday last Sept. 1, Jimin posted a shirtless photo of them together, giving ARMYs a clear view of his phases of the moon tattoo. Photos of his back tattoo were also seen in the photobook for his solo album, "FACE."

During a live broadcast on Weverse in September 2022, Jimin revealed that his phases of the moon back tattoo started with only one moon on the base of his neck. However, a fan art shown to him by his bandmate V inspired him to have the other moon phases tattooed on his spine, too.
