Several netizens reacted to Ranker's list of Most Disliked Celebrities of 2023.

Ranker dropped the list of the Most Disliked Celebrities of 2023, where over 16,000 people participated. During the poll, participants were encouraged to vote for the celebrities "who are irritating you most in 2023." In the end, Amber Heard topped the list, but many reacted that it should have been Meghan Markle.

"I am shocked by this article. I really thought Meghan would get 1st place," one commented. Another added, "I believe it should be 1 Meghan, 2 Harry, 3 Amber."

"They should have been 1 and 2!! At least Amber has stayed relatively quiet for a while," a third user said of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

"Meg should have won this is one, she really deserved it, but second is very good too," a fourth person opined with laughing emojis.

"There has to have been a miscount --- MM is definitely in first place on this. At the very least, it is a *VERY* close second," a fifth user claimed.

"​​Richly deserved, and I'm disappointed for them that they didn't win 1st and 2nd. However, there's always next year, and with the scoobie [sic] book and ongoing court cases, they must be a shoo in," a sixth user stated.

Meanwhile, some did not see a problem with the rankings, while others made fun of the Sussexes after learning that many of their friends were also on the list, including Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres and James Corden.

"Well deserved their ranks," one wrote with three clapping hands emojis. A different user said that it was a "solid list."

"I love James, Oprah and Ellen are in there. All their best mates and it was because they left but never shut up moaning about or smearing the very family that made them relevant. Also, are a couple of elderly abusers for profit," someone else commented.

"Just look at that list! Harry, Meg & all their best pals! Oprah, Ellen, etc. Kitson, The Hollywood Reporter & now this. H&M can't seem to catch a break. I'm loving it. It's so well deserved," a different netizen opined.

"Good to see three of their friends on the list too, they can all cry together about why," another critic stated.

Prince Harry and Markle received negative headlines recently after the release of Omid Scobie's controversial book, "Endgame." Many accused them of being involved in the publication with several scathing attacks against the royal family.

Some urged the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to speak up and distance themselves from "Endgame" after it brought back the race row. However, the duo hasn't released any statement about it yet, but Scobie -- allegedly the couple's unofficial "mouthpiece" -- previously denied the rumors the Sussexes were involved.
