The "Florida Joker" has threatened to sue Rockstar Games unless he receives compensation over an alleged reference in the "Grand Theft Auto 6" trailer.

The recently released trailer for the highly anticipated "GTA 6," set in the fictional state of Leonida, Rockstar's version of Florida, garnered attention for its real-life references, including what some fans believed was a nod to the Florida Joker, whose real name is Lawrence Sullivan.

Sullivan was dubbed the Florida Joker for his green hair and facial tattoos reminiscent of the DC Comics villain.

While the character in question had purple hair instead of green and different face tattoos, Sullivan noticed the similarities and demanded up to $2 million from Rockstar Games in compensation in a TikTok video posted Friday.

In the post, Sullivan showed a side-by-side comparison of the "GTA 6" character and his own mugshot that went viral in 2017.

"That's me. 'GTA,' we got to talk," he said. "Or not, you guys give me a [million] or two. So what's up? Holla at me GTA, Rockstar Entertainment, Rockstar Games. Rockstar enterprise. Florida Joker ain't having that. Y'all took my likeness. Y'all took my life."

In a follow-up video posted Tuesday, the tattoo model, who now sported purple hair, demanded an additional million dollars for the free marketing he claims to have provided.

"Y'all taking forever to respond back to me," he said.

Sullivan continued: "Find the other person in Florida they portrayed that character from. I'll wait, I will wait. 'GTA,' we got to talk."

He gave Rockstar a three-day ultimatum before threatening legal action, citing "hard evidence."

"You think I'm playing? You've got three days, three days before my lawyers go crazy on this case. This is not like the Lizzie Lohan case. I got hard evidence," he claimed.

Rockstar Games has yet to respond to Sullivan's claims.

However, industry observers remain skeptical about the success of Sullivan's potential legal pursuit.

Notably, Lindsay Lohan's 2013 lawsuit against Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar Games, for alleged unauthorized use of her likeness in "GTA 5" was eventually dismissed.

Even Roger Clark, the voice actor behind "Red Dead Redemption 2" protagonist Arthur Morgan, expressed doubt in Sullivan's chances, stating in a now-deleted TikTok, "They're [Rockstar Games] not going to talk to you. They've had people like you trying to sue them for decades," as quoted by PC Gamer.

"GTA 6" is set for release in 2025. Watch the trailer below.
