Emma and Taylor's friendship reportedly dates back to April 2008, when their paths first crossed paths during the Young Hollywood Awards on April 27, 2008, per Hollywood Life.

They've consistently shown support for each other's projects. The singer was often in attendance during the movie premieres of Emma's films, such as "The Favourite," "Easy A" and "Poor Things."

Stone, on the other hand, has always shown support for Swift's musical activities. Just recently, she revealed that she attended Taylor's "The Eras Tour" three times, including the opening show in Phoenix, Arizona, per Billboard.

In July 2023, Taylor released "When Emma Falls In Love," a vault track from her album "Speak Now (Taylor's Version).

Some Swifties -- Taylor Swift fans -- speculated that the titular Emma in the song was Emma Stone and that the song was about her and Andrew Garfield. Meanwhile, others assumed that it was about Emma Stone and Kieran Culkin.

However, when asked if "When Emma Falls In Love" was about her, Stone just said, "You have to ask [Taylor]!"
