ATLANTA, GEORGIA - APRIL 22: Jess Hilarious speaks onstage at The 2023 Black Effect Podcast Festival at Pullman Yards on April 22, 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Jess Hilarious is now officially the third co-host of The Breakfast Club, joining Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy on the iHeart morning radio show.

The comedian, born Jessica Robin Moore, made the announcement on her Instagram on Monday. In the video post, Jess, 31, shared the official announcement featuring voice-overs from numerous DJs, bloggers, and podcasters. The voices discussed her potential employment with The Breakfast Club, addressing both those who supported her joining the show and those who initially questioned her announcement, believing she may have spoken too soon.

The video clip, which was reposted by The Breakfast Club's official Instagram account on the same day, concluded with Jess Hilarious seated on a throne, symbolizing her elevated position, while her soon-to-be co-hosts step up behind her.

Previously fans expressed concern about Jess Hilarious' position on The Breakfast Club after she posted a seemingly insulting message on Instagram. In the post, she referred to Envy, 46, and Charlamagne, 45, as "trash" due to their comparison of SZA to Mary J. Blige.

"These N****s trash," she said. "Envy shut up! I know artists be pissed when old heads do this bc now everybody negative comparing SZA to MJB and it ain't even her fault! She has her own identity."

The Baltimore native replaced Angela Yee, who had been the third co-host of the radio show since December 2010. Yee, 48, is the current host of syndicated radio show Way Up, after leaving the show in December 2022.
