DJ Envy does not play about his wife. TV personality Desus Nice learned this the hard way when he attempted to blast DJ Envy’s wife previously.

DJ Envy Sets Desus Nice Straight

Envy stormed out of the studio after an exchange with Nice during his appearance on The Breakfast Club morning show. The incident occurred when Envy confronted Nice on the show Thursday, March 15, for speaking on his wife, Gia Casey. Nice had said that Casey is only with Envy because of his wealth and fame.

“You owe my wife an apology when you insinuated that she was there for the check, on your show yes you did,” said Envy as he played a clip of Nice’s comments on Casey.

He went on to inform Nice on his history with Casey. He said they had been together since they were teenagers, long before Envy became the celebrity he is today. Envy even revealed that at one point in their relationship, Casey brought in more money than he did.

“When it comes about my wife, it’s a little disrespectful… There is no ‘but’ when it comes to wife and kids.”

The two seemed to agree to disagree and the interview moved forward. Still, it was clear Envy was bothered by Nice’s comments. He got up and left the studio.

Envy caused such a wave on the internet that he trended on Twitter.

DJ Envy Is Always Team Gia

It’s no secret Envy goes extra hard for his wife -- even after the two had a public falling out. Fans might remember that Envy apologized on the air for being unfaithful to Casey in one of the most shocking celebrity cheating scandals. The other woman was allegedly reality star Erica Mena.

Casey opened up about their marital woes earlier this year. She admitted she had no idea Envy was living another life. She said everything was good between them, from their intimacy to the way he respected and treated her.

She revealed that as soon as she found out about Envy cheating, she took the first step in ending their marriage. She went as far as speaking to their children about a potential divorce. At one point, Envy started to slip at work as he realized the downward spiral of his marriage was real.

“I was losing everything,” said Envy. “I’m losing this person that really held me down. Was there for me from the start, didn’t care about money, didn’t care about anything…”

Interestingly enough, it was singer Tyrese who helped save their marriage.
