The dark blue Range Rover used by the late Queen Elizabeth II in 2016 is now up for sale for a whopping £224,850 for its historical significance.

Per the vehicle listing on Autotrader UK, the Land Rover Range Rover was first registered in Mach 2016 to Jaguar Land Rover Ltd. It was originally prepared by the Land Rover Workshop at Gaydon and equipped with covert lighting, police emergency lighting, adapted fixed side steps, rear entertainment screens and grab handles.

Although the special features were removed after the vehicle was taken out of royal service, the grab handles used by Her Majesty remain intact, as well as the warning sticker for the siren. The Rover also has the same plate the Queen used, OU16XVH.

US President Barack Obama (L), Britain's Queen Elizabeth II (2L) and US First Lady Michelle Obama (R) arrive by car from the helicopter landing zone at Windsor Castle for a private lunch in Windsor, southern England, on April, 22, 2016.

The custom Range Rover was used during former U.S. President Barack Obama's state visit with his wife Michelle in April 2016.

During the state visit, Prince Philip drove with Her Majesty to meet Obama and the former first lady as they stepped off their helicopter onto the grounds of Windsor Castle.

"It's a lovely thing. It's one of the most well-covered royal cars that was in a royal fleet, including the Obama visit," said salesman Jack Morgan-Jones of Bramley Motor Cars.

"Normally, they endeavor to change the registration number when a car has been in royal service, but in this case, the [registration] will stay the same. So there is no doubt in anyone's mind that this was the car used by the Queen," he continued.

The royal SUV has five doors and five seats. It features a 4.4L engine, automatic gearbox and a Euro 6 emission class. It only has 18,206 miles covered so far.

Its safety features include an anti-lock braking system, an automatic high beam assist, autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, a misfuel protection device, follow-me-home lighting, daytime running lights and driver and passenger airbags, among many others.

Per GB News, the Range Rover has been up for sale twice before, first to a car dealer client and then to a "local chap who just loved the history behind it."

Its new selling price is reportedly higher than the previous sales since it's the first time the vehicle is being sold after the Queen's passing.
