Kate Middleton may or may not join the Horse Guards Parade after the latest update from the Palace.

The Princess of Wales, 42, has been on a break from her royal duties following her abdominal surgery. She was last seen on Monday, but it did not quell the rumors surrounding her absence in the past weeks, despite the initial announcement from the Palace that she would not be back until after Easter.

Interestingly, Middleton's name recently appeared on the official army website. She was listed to lead the annual review of soldiers at the Horse Guards Parade in London on June 8. The announcement brought hope to royal fans waiting for her return to her royal duties, but Kensington Palace quietly removed her name from the website on Tuesday, People reported.

According to Kensington Palace, they had not been consulted about Middleton's appearance. So, they removed her name from the website selling tickets to the event.

The Duchess of Cambridge was listed to conduct the review on June 8 as the honorary Colonel of the Irish Guards since Number 9 is leading the parade this year. Middleton was supposed to lead the Colonel's Review the weekend before the event.

Middleton underwent abdominal surgery in January, so she had been missing from the spotlight for months. But on Monday, she was seen inside a black Audi with her mom, Carole Middleton, behind the wheel.

TMZ released a grainy photo from the sighting. However, many argued that the woman in the passenger's seat wasn't Prince William's wife because she looked different, with many alleging that the person looked like Michael Jackson.

Some speculated that she probably had cosmetic surgery, which was why she went missing. One suggested that Middleton may have had "lip injections, [B]otox, fat reduction, double chin removal, liposuction, buccal fat removal, brow lift [and] forehead implant" because she was unrecognizable.

Before her recent sighting, several netizens expressed concerns about Middleton's whereabouts because they had not seen her after the Palace announced her abdominal surgery. King Charles also had his own health issues and was diagnosed with cancer but was never gone for too long from the limelight.

Middleton's long absence sparked various rumors. Some went overboard, suggesting she was in a coma or was already dead. Others wanted to know if she was still alive.

"I don't mean to be a s**t stirrer, but is Kate Middleton even alive? There are no credible pictures since Christmas, someone was taken away by ambulance on 12/28, and there are vague stories about hospitals and surgeries, but where the F is she? What are they hiding?" one asked.
