Jimmy Kimmel shared his thoughts on Kate Middleton's disappearance from the public eye.

On Tuesday's episode of his late-night show "Jimmy Kimmel Live," the talk show host compared the Princess of Wales' public disappearance to Melania Trump's absence from public events.

"Everyone's putting together clues to find the princess. It's like an international game of 'Zelda' ... This shows you how different it is in the U.K. Kate goes missing for a few weeks, the whole country goes berserk," Kimmel remarked.

"Meanwhile, we haven't seen Melania since 2021," he quipped, drawing laughter from the audience.

Middleton underwent a "planned abdominal surgery" in January. It was a success, but the royal "is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter," per Kensington Palace's statement on Jan. 17.

Because of her absence from the public eye, speculations regarding her whereabouts became the talk of the town internationally.

While she was reportedly spotted for the first time in public earlier this month in the passenger seat of the black Audi her mom, Carole, drove near Windsor Castle, speculations about what happened to her still circulated online.

The buzz grew even more when the royal uploaded a "manipulated" photo of her with her kids -- Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis -- on Mother's Day, which she shortly apologized for.

With these incidents, netizens wondered about the whereabouts of Prince William's wife. Others even asked if she was still alive.

In comparison, though Melania was recently spotted with her husband on the first day of the Florida primary voting at the Morton and Barbara Mandel Recreation Center in Palm Beach, the former first lady was barely seen in public since their family left the White House in 2021 after Donald's presidential term ended.

Last year, "Missing Melania" flyers were spread at an Iowa college football game, which Trump claimed was done by his rival Ron DeSantis.

But while Melania was barely seen in public, her absence did not seem as big of an issue as when Kate had gone missing from the public eye.

Meanwhile, Kimmel made other Kate-related remarks on his late-night show.

"He says the authored photo Kate Middleton posted isn't a big deal because everyone doctors their photos. And you know what, for the time this century, I agree with Donald Trump. It really isn't a big deal," Kimmel told his audience, citing the former president's comment on Middleton's photo scandal.

"This week, we had more Google searches for Kate Middleton than for Joe Biden or Donald Trump. We finally did it. We finally made America 'Kate' again."

He also brought up Gonzaga University during his monologue about Middleton.

"Gonzaga is playing in their 25th consecutive tournament, which is very impressive, particularly when you consider it a totally made-up university from a non-existent place," he quipped.

"This is the time of the year when I question the existence of Gonzaga University. This is my Kate Middleton."
