WWE founder Vince McMahon allegedly has kept in touch with Donald Trump as the two billionaires face respective legal problems, according to a report.

Several unnamed sources close to McMahon told NBC News and CNBC that he has talked to the former president since leaving the WWE and its parent company TKO Group in January in the wake of sexual assault and sex trafficking allegations against him.

While it is unclear what they've discussed, the two reportedly did not talk about their legal woes.

However, a spokesperson for McMahon denied the claims that the former WWE CEO has "been in touch regularly" with Trump and insisted the two men only had one quick chat in the past several years when McMahon underwent surgery on his back.

A rep for Trump refused to comment on the matter, according to the outlets.

Trump's connection with McMahon dates back to the late 1980s when the real estate mogul hosted two WrestleMania events in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

He also had a wrestling "feud" with McMahon in the 2000s and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

McMahon's wife Linda is currently on the board of Trump Media and Technology Group, which owns Truth Social.

Meanwhile, the insiders also told CNBC and NBC News that McMahon appears unfazed by his legal issues and has been "enjoying life" since resigning from TKO.

McMahon went on trips to Turks and Caicos and Italy, flying aboard a private plane, the sources said.

He reportedly also meets up with friends for meals at restaurants in Manhattan, including Italian spot Il Tinello East.

In addition to this, McMahon gets a haircut at his longtime barber every two weeks and works out with the help of his personal trainer multiple times a week, according to the insiders.

McMahon resigned as the executive chairman of the board of TKO Group in January -- just months after he began holding the position and a year after returning to the WWE.

"He will no longer have a role with TKO Group Holdings or WWE," WWE president and TKO board member Nick Khan said in an email to staff cited by Variety.

His resignation came just days after it emerged that former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against him alleging he raped, sexually exploited, and trafficked her during his time as CEO of the company.

A spokesman for McMahon vehemently denied the allegations.

"This lawsuit is replete with lies, obscene made-up instances that never occurred, and a vindictive distortion of the truth," the spokesman said in a statement obtained by Deadline. "He will vigorously defend himself."

McMahon faces a federal criminal investigation in connection with the allegations but has not been criminally charged as of this writing.

Meanwhile, Trump was ordered to pay writer E. Jean Carroll a total of $88.3 million in damages following two separate civil trials in the past several months.

Trump was deemed liable for sexually abusing and defaming Carroll in the first trial, while the second found that he made defamatory statements about her.

On Monday, the trial for the first of Trump's four ongoing criminal cases kicked off in New York City.

Trump faces 34 felony counts of falsifying business records for his alleged role in the hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election in exchange for her silence on their alleged sexual encounter.

Trump has pleaded not guilty in all four cases and denied the affair allegations.

Jury selection is ongoing at Trump's hush money trial, which is expected to last up to eight weeks.
