To celebrate 'Star Wars' Day 2024, the day when the force is at its strongest, we list down the best and most popular "Star Wars" characters in the U.S.

These characters are the most searched on Google, according to an analysis done by 1337 Games, which analyzed the Google search data of more than 130 "Star Wars" characters across each U.S. state for the past 12 months.

Searches for characters with multiple nicknames were reportedly combined, while "The Mandalorian" was removed from the research due to crossover searches of the TV series with the same name.

10. Darth Maul

Monthly Searches: 158,130

A formidable Sith Lord in the "Star Wars" saga, Darth Maul was the main antagonist in "Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace" and also appeared in the animated series "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" and "Star Wars Rebels."

His crossover exposure drew continued interest in the character from fans.

9. Luke Skywalker

A no-brainer! Luke Skywalker is a central character in the saga, so it's no wonder he's among the most famous.

The son of Anakin Skywalker, who later became Darth Vader, Luke went from a farmer in Tatooine to a Jedi Knight who battles the Empire with his iconic blue lightsaber and redeems his father.

Having your own Disney+ series has its perks. For one, you become one of the most popular characters of an iconic saga with a massive fanbase.

A trainee under Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka left the Jedi Order but was eventually a big help to the Rebel Alliance. With her dual lightsabers, she's known for bravery, combat skills and independence.

Her character appeared in the film "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" as well as the animated series, "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" and "Star Wars Rebels."

Padmé Amidala is the fashion icon of the "Star Wars" universe. Her elaborate wardrobe and intricate hairstyles could not be missed in the movies.

Her romance with Anakin Skywalker and her belief in his inherent goodness are critical in the saga's storyline.

Padmé Amidala is a mother to Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa.

From Darth to Anakin. Due to Anakin's own character arc, he is listed separately from Darth. In fact, there are about 5,000 Google searches for "Who Is Darth Vader?" monthly.

A central character in the entire "Star Wars" Universe, Anakin is pivotal in shaping the fate of the galaxy.

Grogu, or Baby Yoda, is the most famous character in the "Star Wars" universe.

Grogu belongs to the same species as Jedi Master Yoda and is an important character in the Disney+ series, "The Mandalorian."

While his background is mostly unknown, Baby Yoda's immense power, curiosity and occasional mischievousness endear him to fans.

According to the analysis, Grogu is most searched in Washington, Nevada and Utah. He also received 200% more interest than Yoda.
