Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Hannah Davis has made recent headlines after she was spotted wearing an engagement-like ring, prompting rumors that she was engaged to New York Yankess star, Derek Jeter.

The couple previously confirmed their relationship when the model said, "I would rather go to a Yankees game than a Mets game, that's my final answer" to Ocean Drive magazine.

Davis stepped out  Wednesday for a coffee run with Jeter wearing the ring, but according to the New York Daily News, Davis was spotted wearing the same ring last month at a fashion show in Miami. 

She even flaunted the same ring at an after-party for a screening of the movie, Lovelace in New York City, later posting an Instagram picture from the party.

A Diamond District jewelry expert said that the flashy ring in question does resemble an engagement ring.

A source confirmed to E! News that the two are not engaged, saying "It's just a ring that she really likes."

Jeter has been linked to plenty of famous women in the past, including Jessica Biel, Minka Kelly, Jessica Alba and Mariah Carey. New York Mets Pitcher Matt Harvey  admitted that he wants to follow in Jeter's footsteps off the field when it comes down to the ladies. 

That guy [Jeter] is the model," Harvey said earlier this year. "I mean, first off, let's just look at the women he's dated. Obviously, he goes out - he's meeting these girls somewhere - but you never hear about it. That's where I want to be."

Davis was discovered at the age of 14 to be a model by a family friend and model scout Ginny Edwards Maxwell, of Ginny Edwards Development, who signed her to IMG Models in New York and is still her mother agent.
