Drake enlisted some mega talent for his upcoming album Nothing Was The Same and also assured fans that they will fall in love with one specific song.

Jay Z, who was photographed in the studio in May with Drake, will appear on the album as well as his Young Money boss Lil' Wayne, Rolling Stone confirmed on Friday. Superstar producers like DJ Hudson Mohawke will also contribute to the album. The Scottish DJ produced Cruel Summer, an album from Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label.

Six Facts To Know About Drake's Nothing Was The Same

"This album is about growth," Drake told the magazine. "When I play it for people, they ask, 'Who's that rapping?' I'm like, 'That's me.'"

The Canadian native also believes that fans will fall in love with the emotional song Connect.

"That one hits you in the heart," he told Rolling Stone about the track. "It's painful and beautiful at the same time."

Drake's third album will be the follow-up to 2011's Take Care. The rapper's sophomore album peaked at No. 1 on Billboard, as did his debut album Thank Me Later in 2010. Take Care also won the Grammy for Best Rap Album at the 2013 award show and sold more than a million copies in the U.S. alone.

Drake Takes Shots From His Grammy Award

"This is my f--cking moment to say if I wanted to rap all the time, really rap, I would, but I also love to make music," he told GQ in July about the forthcoming album. "I'll do this for you right now. But it's for me, too. It's my story... I'm trying to get back to that kid in the basement. To say what he has to say. And I'm trying to make it last."

Following the album's release, Drake will go on tour with singer Miguel and Future to promote it.

Nothing Was The Same hits stores on Sept. 17.
