The new Justin Bieber documentary Justin Bieber's Believe made its unofficial debut -- as part of a secret screening -- at the Toronto Film Festival on Sept. 7.

Backed by IM Global, the film was screened at the Cineplex in Toronto for international buyers and fans. The screening's location was kept hidden so as to avoid attracting hoardes of Beliebers at the venue. The screening took place at about 5 p.m. at the Cineplex in Toronto, whrere fans rubbed shoulders with prospective buyers as they got a first glimpse of the movie directed by Jon M. Chu.

Chu helmed the hit concert film Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, which grossed nearly $100 million in 2011.

Justin Bieber's Believe was produced under a shroud of secrecy. Not much word has gotten out about the nature of the project in the media other than the fact that it follows Bieber's path to becoming a worldwide phenomenon. The documentary will use in-concert footage from his Believe world tour to tell the tale of Bieber's journery so far.

Never Say Never documented the 10 days counting down to one of Bieber's biggest performances at Madison Square Garden on Aug. 31 2010. The concert sold out in a matter of 22 minutes.
