Drake premiered Too Much, a new song from his upcoming album, on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Friday night.

The slow-tempo song features U.K. singer/songwriter Sampha, who sings the heartfelt chorus and outro. Sampha was playing the keyboard as Drake passionately performed.

"Heard once that in dire times when you need a sign, that's when they appear. Guess since my text message didn't resonate, I'll just say it here," Drake raps.

The song will appear on Drake's third album, Nothing Was The Same, due on Sept. 24.

Earlier in the day, Drake's song Wu-Tang Forever also surfaced on the internet. While the title pays tribute to the famous New York rap crew, the song focuses on other topics.

"I don't know what's getting into me. I just like the rush when you see your enemy somewhere in the club and you realize he just not in a position to reciprocate your energy. You ain't ever worried cause he's not who he pretends to be," he raps.

Drake enlisted some mega talent for his upcoming album, including Jay Z and Lil Wayne. Superstar producer DJ Hudson Mohawke, who produced Cruel Summer from Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label, will also contribute to the record.

The album will also demonstrate a different sound to Drake, according to one of his producers Noah "40" Shebib.

"It's a huge change in tone," Shebib told Rolling Stone in an August report. "Before, Drake was a nice guy. Here, he's stepping up the attitude and playing hardball."

The rapper's third album will be the follow-up to 2011's Take Care. His sophomore album peaked at No. 1 on Billboard, as did his debut album Thank Me Later in 2010. Take Care also won the Grammy for Best Rap Album at the 2013 award show and sold more than a million copies in the U.S. alone.
