Plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn previewed Leakes' current photos and compared them to old ones. He shared his expertise on what procedures the reality star might have had done to her face. He told Radar Online he believes the drastic changes to the Glee actress' face is the result of plastic surgery.
"Could plastic surgery be the cause? I think so," Dr. Youn, who has not treated Leakes, said. "I suspect she's undergone at least one, if not two nose jobs over the years that have thinned her nose."
He also believes The Real Housewives of Atlanta star received Botox injections and that it has given her a "nice lift of her eyebrows." Because the mother-of -two's jawline looks more "sculpted" than ever, he also believes she had liposuction on her chin.
"Overall, this housewife looks really, really good," Dr. Youn said. "She looks better with each passing year!"
Leakes admitted to getting work done in several interviews. She reportedly once told Wendy Williams, "I gotta tell you, I like that liposuction now! I really like it and I would go back when I need it again."
Leakes told People in October 2010 the amount of work she had done to slim down to a size 8-10. She told the magazine that in April of that year she got a nose job, smaller breast implants and a lift, as well as liposuction around her waist.
"I'm very comfortable and confident in myself. I just wanted a tune up," Leakes told the publication. "I still wanted to look like NeNe, the black woman that I am," she says, "but a better version."
Bravo recently released the preview video for her spin-off, I Dream of Nene: The Wedding. The new reality show follows the planning her second wedding to her long-term love Gregg Leakes. Nene said in the clip, "This is a love story that turned into a horror story."
The teaser also showed the television star having a heated argument with her wedding planner. After a blonde woman told Nene, "I could do in my sleep your wedding!" the Real Housewives of Atlanta star fired back, "We hired you because the other two planners were busy."
In another scene Nene told Gregg during an intimate discussion in bed, "You need to sign this prenup."
Bravo's I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding premieres Sept. 17 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
