With six different Real Housewives reality series' airing on Bravo in the U.S. from several American cities, many of the stars that star in the show have over the years experienced divorce - some more public than others.

The first to air on the network was The Real Housewives of Orange County in 2006 and the show ended its eighth season earlier in the summer. The cast has changed over the years except for one star who have been on the show since season 1: Vicki Gunvalson. Out of all the other women currently part of the cast, Tamra Barney has been there the longest, signing on in season 3. Both women, who have an on and off friendship, have experienced divorce. Barney has four children -- 26-year-old Ryan with first husband Darren Vieth, and three young children with her second ex-husband Simon Barney.

Gunvalson has two grown children, Michael and Briana Wolfsmith, from her first husband Donn Wolfsmith.

The Real Housewives of Miami is the latest edition to the franchise, starting in 2011. The show is currently in its third season and two of its cast members are divorced: Marysol Patton and Ana Quincoces. Patton married Philippe Pautesta-Herder in an intimate ceremony in Aspen, which played out on-screen in the season 1 episode of the show, but they separated shortly after and their divorce was featured in season 2. Quincoces has two daughters, Kati, 20, and Beba, 19, with Robert Rodriguez.

Bethenny Frankel, who starred in The Real Housewives of New York City before getting her own spin-off series and then venturing off camera, is in a very public divorce battle with Jason Hoppy. They married in 2010 and played out their marriage on the Bravo reality series Bethenny Ever After for three seasons. She filed for divorce in January 2013 and they still live together in their New York City apartment, with both of them refusing to be the first to move out. They are also in a lengthy custody battle over their daughter Bryn, 3.
