New details emerged about the Thor: Treasures of Asgard attraction opening at Disneyland Park on Nov. 1, one week before Thor: The Dark World hits theaters .

The attraction will be set up at an exhibit area of Disneyland Park called Innoventions and will heavily feature Jane Foster's research, according to Marvel's website.

The company described the attraction in a Tuesday post, explaining its focus on Foster's work. The astrophysicist, established a special relationship with Thor when he was on Earth, focused her studies on the Bifrost, a cosmic bridge that allows the superhero to travel between the Nine Realms, including Earth.

"She has determined that the Bifrost is set to open again in Southern California and pinpointed the precise location as Innoventions at Disneyland Park," the company statement read. "Inside Innoventions, Foster and her team are preparing for the opening of the Bifrost with the installation of Thor: Treasures of Asgard, a collection of objects brought to Earth straight from Asgard. After viewing the exhibit, you'll be invited to enter a chamber where the Bifrost will transport you to Asgard for an audience with Thor."

Thor is not the only Marvel superhero who will be making an appearance at the Disneyland Park in Anaheim, according to the Disney Parks blogIron Man Tech Presented by Stark Industries gives park visitors a close-up look at Tony Stark's Hall of Armor and the opportunity to virtually wear the Mark 42 armor featured in the third film. That exhibit is scheduled to conclude at the end of September.

Captain America will also be featured at the Avengers Academy on the Disney Magic cruise. There is no word at time of publication on whether any of these characters or exhibits will make their way to the Disney World Park in Orlando, Fla.
