Entering their 25th game of the season, the Toronto Maple Leafs currently have a 14-9-1 record. The team fell to the Nashville Predators on Thursday and defeated the Washington Capitals on Saturday before losing to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday. With 29 points, Toronto is ranked third in the Atlantic Division.

Coming into tonight's game, the Pittsburgh Penguins currently have a 15-9-1 record. After performing spectacularly well early in the season, the Penguins have repeatedly entered into brief losing streaks through out the last two months. After defeating the New York Islanders on Friday, the Pennsylvanian team fell to the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday and was crushed in overtime by the Boston Bruins on Monday. With 31 points, the Penguins are still holding on to their first place spot in the Metropolitan Division.
