Kate Winslet and her husband Ned Rocknroll gave their newborn quite an unsual name - Bear.
The baby boy, who was born on Dec. 7 in England, was also given his mother's last name, according to E! News. However, Winslet also didn't take the surname of her husband after they got married in 2012.
"I quite like Kate Winslet; in fact I think it's very flashy," she told the Telegraph in September. "I'm proud of my name because I'm one of three girls and we have one boy in our family so essentially the only person who is going to carry the name along is my brother and he doesn't have any children at the moment."
Baby Bear is the third child for Winslet, who already has a daughter Mia and son Joe from previous relationships. Despite her fame and successful career, the Labor Day actress previously explained that she wants her children to appreciate the fortunate life they live.
"I always want them to be regular kids who are grateful and respectful of other human beings. I want them to know that when we fly first-class, that they are lucky," she told Harper's Bazaar in March.
She also told the magazine: "The highest compliment I could ever receive about my kids - and I can say that this does happen frequently - is when the in-flight crew say to me, 'Your children are wonderful. They are so well-behaved.' Every time I am told that, I could weep."
