Singer and actor Tyrese Gibson revealed to 7 Days in Dubai newspaper that he's still struggling with his best friend Paul Walker's death about a month after Walker died in a fiery car accident.

He said that while he is still working on how to cope, he knows that Walker would want him to be happy, so that is what he aims for.

"He was one of my best friends ever. I find it hard to enjoy life because he's not here ... but knowing him, he'd want us to keep smiling and having fun."

He said Walker was always happy and he never saw him shed a tear.

Universal Studios has decided to go on with the film and slated a release date for April 10, 2015. Gibson said that is exactly what Walker would want.

"It's a multicultural film that has impacted around the world - he would want us to keep doing this on his behalf.

Friday The Hollywood Reporter announced that the studios has decided to simply retire Walker's Fast and Furious character, Brian, instead of killing him off or replacing him with another actor. The movie was about halfway done being filmed when Walker died on Nov. 30. Universal Studios execs like director James Wan, writer Chris Morgan and Jeffrey Kirschenbaum looked over the footage and decided to make changes to the script that is already in place. Now, Walker's legacy will still live in the story and the movies can continue in light of his unexpected and sudden death.
