The recent revelation that Dwyane Wade had a child out of wedlock isn't stopping his new fiance, Being Mary Jane star Gabrielle Union, from gushing about how great their relationship is in the February issue of Glamour.

"He's never left without kissing me and telling me he loves me. I am complimentary to the point where I am almost a little Chester the Molester-y," she told the magazine. "I think he's so delicious. Watching him get out of the shower never gets old. Never. It's not like he ever wonders what I'm thinking, but usually he's thinking, 'She needs a cold shower!' "

The actress offered up advice in the interview and encouraged readers to ditch the idea of having a "type" when looking for Mr. Right. If she admitted thrown it aside, she would have never given the Miami Heat basketball player a chance.

"When I met Dwyane, his 'resume' looked like crap: athlete, going through a divorce, nine years younger than me. None of that screamed, 'Let's have a lasting relationship.' Then, after I had a heart-crushing breakup with yet another immature jerk, I thought, it can't be any worse if I date a fetus. Let's just see what happens."

She learned a lot about Wade when they started dating, including the fact that he has been independent since he was 15. Finding out details about him as a person made their attraction even stronger.

"He had wisdom that comes with facing an insane amount of adversity," Union said of her beau. "He's sweet, funny, honest about his shortcomings."

Wade revealed earlier in January that he fathered a child while he and Union were on a break. While Union does not speak of the love child in the interview, she does mention the reason for their break as well as what brought them back together.

"It was because of distance and scheduling. I finished filming [Being Mary Jane], then I flew to Vegas right away to start shooting Think Like a Man Too. I couldn't take time off, and I missed some quality togetherness we desperately needed," she said. "Over the summer, I reassessed priorities. I'd always wanted an awesome career with back-to-back projects, but I realized I wasn't willing to sacrifice my relationship for it."
