Katy Perry John Mayer Dating: 'Say' Singer's Ex, Jennifer Aniston Wants Them to 'Start a Family Together' [VIDEO]
Many talk about Katy Perry and John Mayer's blooming romance, but some have stayed quiet on his previous relationship with Jennifer Aniston, until now.
A source told Radar Online that Aniston holds no grudges against Mayer Friday.
"Jen and John have stayed friends. They're not super close at the moment but Jen has said she likes the John-Katy pairing a lot and wants to see them start a family together."
The source added that part of the We The Millers actress perspective comes from having her own beau.
"Of course Jen is in such a good place with her own relationship that she can get away with being magnanimous...But when she was single, she didn't want to hear a thing about John's hook-ups, and to his credit, he kept his personal life pretty low key for the two years after they broke up."
Unfortunately the insider confessed that Aniston does not look at her ex-husband Brad Pitt the same way.

"No matter what happens, there's a lot of mutual respect between John and Jen that doesn't exist between Jen and Brad Pitt at the moment."
Pitt and Aniston were married for seven years when they divorced in 2005. Rumor has it he left Jolie for his current leading lady, Angelina Jolie. Mayer and Aniston dated off and on from Feb. 2008 to March 2009. He and Perry went public with their relationship in August of 2012. They broke up in March 2013 and got back together in July.
