Kerry Washington may be pregnant, but she's still promoting the return of Scandal.

Washington has been busy promoting season 3 of ABC's hit-drama on her Twitter account, which will return from its winter break on Feb. 27 with a new episode, entitled, Ride, Sally, Ride. This episode will reportedly focus on Sally, who is set to make a huge announcement. Last episode, Sally was in hot water after she murdered her husband for having an affair with Cyrus' husband, James.

According to TV Guide, the remaining eight episodes will also surround President Fitz and his election campaign, but it won't be a easy ride, as he will have to juggle with more scandals and someone who is looking for revenge.

"The campaign will be in full swing ... but Fitz may not make it out unscathed. He'll have to deal with both someone swearing vengeance against him and resurfacing old rumours," TV Guide write Natalie Abrams wrote.

Enstars reported that Scandal was forced to cut four episode because of Washington's pregnancy.

"The actress' spring due date would've made shooting those final four episodes next to impossible," TV Line's Michael Ausiello wrote.

No word if the show will centre around Washingto's real-life pregnancy.

Meanwhile, the 37-year-old actress is set to present Essence magazine's seventh annual Black Women in Hollywood luncheon alongside media mogul Oprah Winfrey on Feb. 27.

People magazine reported that expected guests at the event will include Kelly Rowland, Angela Bassett, Regina King, Brandy Norwood, Niecy Nash, Michelle Williams, Gayle King, Holly Robinson Peete, Garcelle Beauvais and Laila Ali.
