An upcoming episode of Person of Interest will feature the reunion of Michael Emerson and his former Lost co-star.

Nestor Carbonell, who played Richard Alpert on Lost, will reunite with Emerson, who played Ben Linus on Lost and now stars as Finch in Person of Interest. Carbonell is set to guest star on a new episode of Person of Interest, according to E! Online, and will be playing Matthew Reed, the "POI of the week."

Person of Interest producers describe Reed as "a tough, but charismatic criminal prosecutor, who's haunted by a dark secret from his past."

Executive producer Jonah Nolan spoke to TVLine about Carbonell's guest role as well, revealing that he may become involved with Shaw (Sarah Shahi).

"He represents the first real serious challenge to Shaw - not in terms of a physical threat, but... she gets a little knock-kneed and tongue-tied around the guy," Nolan teased.

The E! Online report features photos that show how close Reed and Shaw become, as the two are shown dancing, smiling and having a good time.

Fans hoping to see a reunion of Carbonell and Emerson on screen will not get their wish, unfortunately. Nolan told TVLine that there will not be any scenes involving the two of them together.

Carbonell will be guest starring in the April 1 episode of Person of Interest, which is titled Most Likely To...
