Batman, Superman & Wonder Woman Suits Have "Gritty, Tight" Look?

A series of big rumors were posted on MoviePilot.com Monday by an anonymous writer who claims to know information on Man of Steel 2, a.k.a. Batman vs. Superman. One of the more significant rumors in this list is that Man of Steel 2 exists within the same universe as The Dark Knight trilogy.

"Except for several details, the events that took place in the NolanVerse are going to be Canon," the writer claims, before adding: "Thalia's [Marion Cotillard] involvement in the events of The Dark Knight Rises will not be canon, the supposed death of Bane [Tom Hardy] is also not canon. Other small details are made non-canon."

Batmobile Officially Finished & Premiering At Comic-Con 2014?

Reportedly, Batman retired from his post after the events of The Dark Knight Rises and proceeded to rebuild Gotham as Bruce Wayne. Batman has been retired for seven years between The Dark Knight Rises and Man of Steel.

When the action picks up again in Man of Steel 2, Bruce Wayne wishes to get involved in rebuilding Metropolis in the wake of the destruction that occurred at the end of Man of Steel. As a result, Wayne Enterprises and the Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) -owned LexCorp are forced to work together for the greater good.

The report also claims that there is a development between The Dark Knight and Man of Steel in which The Joker kills Batman's sidekick Robin, causing the Dark Knight to seek vengeance in a potential solo movie.

While all of these rumors are detailed, the report also notes that nothing has been confirmed by Warner Bros., but also says that the rumors are "probable."

Man of Steel 2 is scheduled for release in theaters on May 6, 2016.
