With less than a month to go until Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier opens in theaters, new photos and video from the production company continue to hint at a possible closer relationship between the film's two main characters.

Steve Rogers Set To Die And Be Replaced By Bucky Barnes?

12 new images were released on the official Captain America website March 18, which give a first look at several characters who were previously kept secretive in the film. They also detail more of the action which Steve Rogers will see as he fights the evil Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier.

Though Steve Rogers has long been known to be facing off against his old friend Bucky Barnes, his other potential enemies in the film have been kept under wraps, though one new image will see him fighting against Batroc (Georges St.Pierre) as well.

The new images also give first looks at Pierre's character, as well as Cobie Smulders' Agent Maria Hill and Emily VanCamp's agent 13 in the film.

The company also posted a video introducing fans to Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow character on Youtube March 6, which further hinted at a potential relationship between her character and Steve Rogers.

"They've been tasked on many different missions together...they've gotten to know each other a bit," Johansson said in the video.

"They've been through some things, he knows a lote more about her than most people, and their bond is kind of tested in an interesting sort of way," Samuel L. Jackson, who reprises his role as Nick Fury, said.

Johansson has previously teased at a potential relationship change between she and Chris Evans' characters before, telling Yahoo last month, "They have a working relationship that develops into something more after a series of unfortunate events brings them closer together and their friendship becomes more intimate."

Captain America: The Winter Soldier opens April 4.
