As always, a lot is happening in the upcoming episode of the NBC drama Chicago Fire, which revolves around the stories of firefighters in Chicago.

According to NBC, "The firehouse squad is on the scene of a major accident involving a tanker and a commuter train that collided and then crashed into a warehouse," in next week's episode. As viewers watch along, they will witness 25th Battalion Chief Wallace Boden, played by 51-year-old Unbreakable actor Eamonn Walker, come to terms with tough decisions.
The network also revealed that Gabriela Dawson (portrayed by The Good Wife's Monica Raymund) and Lesley Elizabeth Shay (played by 7th Heaven guest star Lauren German) have fallen out. Meanwhile, Lady Gaga's beau Taylor Kinney, who plays Lt. Kelly Severide, "learns more about the woman he saw with his father."

Speaking of fathers, actor Jessie Spencer's character, Lt. Matthew Casey, "experiences a development in his responsibility of being a surrogate father," revealed the network. Not only is Chicago Fire great for entertainment purposes, but apparently it also serves towards an excellent economic advancement for the state. Reportedly, on March 19 the series was renewed for its third season, "mean[ing] a boost for Illinois' economy," said the Illinois Film Office.
