Say it ain't so! Apollo Nida is allegedly involved in trying to scam a charity.

Apollo Asks For Trial To Be Postponed

Nida is already facing serious charges, including identity theft and bank fraud after he allegedly stole victims' identities and set up fake businesses bringing in roughly $3 million. He's awaiting his preliminary hearing scheduled for April 25.

Now, the husband of The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Phaedra Parks, is said to be back to his swindling ways already in what could be an attempt to keep his lavish lifestyle, according to Radar Online. Instead of laying low he has demanded $2,000 just to make an appearance at a charity event for battered women and children. On top of that, he wants the money up front.

A rep for the the charity, which is called Dio Bambini, told Radar Online that he feels a little uneasy about Nida's request considering it's scheduled for after his court date.

"I'm really, really leery that his court date is before the event. It makes sense why he's pressuring me and wanting me to book him," rep Chase DeCaro said. "His people told me that I have to pay him everything up front and then they'll send me a photograph to print on a flyer. I spoke to different celebrities, and he's the only one who really wants to be paid before the event even happens."

DeCarlo confessed that he believes Nida is up to his old scamming ways.

"It seems like that's exactly what he's showing now. I feel like I'm trying to book Beyonce!...At first I thought he would do it for free. His people were saying ... he wouldn't mind appearing."

But DeCarlo was quickly hit with a dose of reality when Nida began demanding money in exchange for his appearance.

"At first it was like 'Ok, I'll do it for $2,000. [Then I got him down to] about $1,200. It's still a lot, but we're still in discussion. He just sent me a contract for $2,000!"

It doesn't look any better that they are also trying to get his fellow reality star Kandi Burruss to come to the event, and she offered to do it for free.

"I'm still talking with my people to see if it's worth Apollo to come at all. We have people with a better background willing to do it for free, so I don't know."
