Apollo Nida has still not made a peep publicly about the serious fraud charges he is facing.

However, while Nida awaits his pre-trial proceedings scheduled for April 25, he has defended his The Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star Peter Thomas when it comes to him getting involved in their wives' arguments.

While NeNe Leakes has made it clear that Thomas (Cynthia Bailey's husband) should stay out of their business, Nida is Team Peter.

"We are the women's business. It's not being in the business. We are their business," he told Sister 2 Sister magazine Monday. "The show is called The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The men are just as much as involved in the relationship -in that network- as they are. At the end of the day, if you don't want a man's opinion, don't have the man around."

Leakes went as far as calling Thomas the b-word because of his involvement in the wives' affairs. Nida also revealed Thomas's thoughts on the insult.

"Peter holds NeNe in much high regard and has always had nothing but great things to say about NeNe. When NeNe did that, she let Peter down."

While Nida is freely standing up for Thomas and even slamming The Real Housewives of Atlanta crew for how they make him look in the show, he has remained silent about fraud charges he is facing. He was arrested earlier this year for allegedly stealing victims' identities and using them to set up phony businesses as well as stealing social security checks from Delta Airlines employees. He is said to be in talks of making a plea deal.
