Khloe Kardashian and French Montana may be in the early stages of their new relationship, but his estranged wife is sending out a warning to the reality star.

In an interview with Life & Style magazine, Deen Kharbouch wants Kardashian to know that things with Montana "are not what they seem."

"She [Kardashian] has to be careful," Kharbouch told the magazine, which is on stands now.

Kharbouch revealed that she and Montana used to have a happy marriage, but as soon as he became successful in 2012, the rapper abandoned her and their 4-year-old son, Kruz.

"As soon as he popped, it was as if Kruz and I didn't exist," Kharbouch said. "He practically abandoned us."

"Sometimes we won't hear from him for two or three months," she added.

Montana is currently paying $7,000 a month in child support as the former couple goes through their divorce, but his payments are only because Kharbouch forced him to go to court.

According to reports, Kardashian and Montana have been dating for a month. Back on March 25, Kardashian popped up on set as he was shooting a video and sources said the rapper was distracted by his new girlfriend.

"It was so crazy," a source said. "She was kissing his neck and hanging on him."

Friends and family of Kardashian are concerned and not too fond of her new romance with Montana.

"The whole family is worried," an alleged friend of the reality star said. "They think she's headed down the same path she did with Lamar."
