Season 2 of A&E's hit reality show The Wahlburgers is already shaping up to be jam-packed as both the Wahlberg family and their restaurant continue to expand.

Jenny McCarthy Gets A Burger Named After Her On 'The Wahlburgers'

The biggest news for the family show, which stars Mark, Donnie and Paul Wahlberg alongside their mother, Alma, is the potential addition of actress and The View cohost Jenny McCarthy to the main cast, following her announcement that she and Wahlberg are engaged on April 16.

The 41-year-old actress revealed the news on her ABC Talk Show this morning, showing off her giant yellow sapphire, cushion-cut ring and revealing that Donnie proposed over the weekend with the help of McCarthy's son, Evan.

There has been no official comment from anyone on the show about the engagement and what it means for McCarthy's involvement on it.

The engagement isn't the only good news for the Wahlberg family as they begin filming their second season. It was announced April 15 that the Hingham, Mass. location of the Wahlburgers restaurant would no longer be its only location.

The chain is expanding with eight new locations across North America in upcoming years. The expansion plans include five new restaurants in the Philadelphia area, two additional Boston-based locations, and a location in Toronto's entertainment district.

The possibility of expanding to Canada was explored in an episode during the show's first season, when Paul went to visit a location in Toronto that Mark thought would make a great spot for a new restaurant.

According to a press release, the first restaurant is set to open in late 2014-early 2015.

"These are the next steps in building Wahlburgers into a great and enduring worldwide brand. We have built the restaurant and partnerships with quality and care, and my brothers and I look forward to continuing the journey," Mark said in the release.

Though no season 2 premiere dates has been announced, A&E did renew the show for two more seasons.
