Man of Steel 2 director Zack Snyder recently revealed his excitement over the highly anticipated film and when the world may finally see Ben Affleck in his "Batsuit."

Snyder spoke with Forbes this week about Man of Steel 2, revealing his thoughts on bringing Batman (Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill) together on the big screen.

"Even just Batman and Superman standing next to each other... [I]t's kind of epic. You do sort of sense the weight of the pop culture iconography jumping out of its skin when you're standing there looking at the two of them and Wonder Woman."

He noted that he has the "first photo," though its not clear if he is referring to a photo of Affleck as Batman alongside Cavill's Superman and Wonder Woman's Gal Gadot or just an individual shot.

"I've got it in my archive because I was like, "Okay, I better keep this, it's gonna be worth something!" he laughed.

Fans clamoring to actually see the Batsuit and Wonder Woman's costume, along with Superman's tweaked suit, might have to wait a little longer. Even Snyder doesn't know what such images will be released.

"The movie takes place so far from now, it's hard to know exactly. That all gets tied to marketing and strategies for the movie. It's not just a free-for-all, which I'd love it to be. Because I take a picture of the suit with my camera- I'm actually staring at one right now in my office. And it's just massive on my wall in my office and it's epic, let me tell you!"

He said that he would love to send the photo out into the Internet immediately despite not being allowed to do so. He also said that sending out new info in bits are "exciting milestones" for the Man of Steel 2 team.

Man of Steel 2 is scheduled for release in theaters on May 6, 2016.
