More information is coming out about Apollo Nida's image on The Real Housewives of Atlanta as he is deciding whether to take a plea deal in his fraud case.

It turns out, after the brutal beat down with Kenya Moore's friend, Brandon DeShazer on the Bravo hit reality series, Nida reached out and gave a heartfelt apology.

Unfortunately, viewers did not see it. He recently said that he got involved in the fight in the first place because he was trying to stop Cynthia Bailey's husband, Peter Thomas, from fighting DeShazer. He said all he tried to do was hold DeShazer back when he was punched in the eye.

Phaedra Stands By Apollo Amid Fraud Allegations?

"Yeah, no one saw that part...At that point, I lost it because I'm the type of person you don't put your hands on me period. So whatever happened, I'm not proud of it because it was definitely bad and it took me somewhere that I haven't been in a long time."

Nida added, "I apologized to Brandon. I talked to Brandon for, like, an hour. He seemed cool. I really sincerely apologized to him."

While the millions of viewers didn't see Nida's apology to DeShazer, the fitness guru has previously claimed that the show makes him look bad.

He recently slammed the editing crew of the show, saying, "When you are looking at the edited version, it's totally different than what the real thing is...That's what the show does. It makes me look like a [jerk]."

In the meantime, Apollo has until April 25 to agree to a plea deal or go to trial. He was arrested earlier this year after he allegedly was the master mind behind a scheme that included identity theft and brought in around $3 million.
