Amid confirmed reports that the Wahlberg family-owned burger restaurant that is at the center of A&E's hit show The Wahlburgers is expanding, the possibility of a restaurant opening in New York has officially become a possibility.

New Restaurant Locations & More Jenny McCarthy In Season 2?

On the official Wahlburgers Twitter page April 18, the possibility of a restaurant opening in New York City was marked as an official possibility after a fan asked if the joint, co-owned by brothers Donnie, Mark and Paul Wahlberg, would come there.

"@BANROCKGIRL Not Yet," the account tweeted in reply.

The fan responded with joy however, taking the comment to mean the franchise would open in New York at some point in the future.

"@Wahlburgers, 'Yet' implies your coming! I'll be patient! Meanwhile, I've never been to Boston so maybe I'll visit," she wrote back.

The franchise announced earlier in the week that they were going to expand and open five additional restaurants in the Philadelphia area in coming years, as well as two more Boston-based locations and a location in Toronto's entertainment district.

The Toronto plans were previously featured on the first season of the hit show.

The restaurant isn't the only thing expanding in the Wahlburgers universe. The family is expanding as well, as Donnie officially proposed to girlfriend Jennie McCarthy earlier this week as well.

McCarthy revealed the news on her ABC talk show The View on Wednesday, sharing a photo of herself and Donnie as she danced around set and hugged her co-hosts in excitement.

Donnie reportedly proposed to McCarthy over the weekend with the help of her son, Evan. He gave her a large, cushion-cut yellow sapphire ring.

It is unclear if McCarthy will be playing a larger role on the show now when it returns for season 2.
