Bravo's season 6 of The Real Housewives of New York City has Sonja Morgan paddling out of debt, Heather Thompson and Aviva Drescher backstabbing over 'Bookgate,' and, ironically, Ramona Singer trying to restore the peace.

RHONY Housewife Bethanny Frankel Quits The Show

Morgan's embroiled in bankruptcy and a host of other woos after failing to raise money for Hannibal Pictures for a film starring John Travolta. In 2010 she was forced to declare bankruptcy. According to Daily News (April 15), Morgan is renting out her Upper East Side townhouse for $25,000 a month to pay off her debts (she couldn't find any takers when she tried to sell).

After being served with divorce papers by husband John Morgan (heir to J.P. Morgan), Sonja pulled out of the film deal. Hannibal, forced a lien on Sonja's assets. Now Sonja's renting out an apartment nearby her beloved home. While she licks her wounds and sniffs her abundance candles, there is a glimmer of hope on the horizon. She has been named 'favorite housewife of the entire franchise' by Tina Fey, and is a favorite of Andy Cohen and fans.

Does RHONY beat RHOC in catfight drama? You be the judge.

A loss of money may face all the RHONY housewives soon - as low ratings have hit them hard after an episode of the reality series drew an all-time low of only 1.2 million followers. Is RHONY now in jeopardy?

Ramona Singer's back after taking her daughter to South Africa for a high school graduation gift People reported on April 16. "Now that Ramona's back from vacation, she's the Dalai Lama," joked Sonja.

"I return from vacation, and they're acting like lions," Singer said of the feud between Drescher and Thomson that began over Bookgate. Drescher accused Carole Radziwell, a professional writer, of using a ghostwriter for her book What Remains.

"Suddenly, I was having to defend my 20-year writing career," Radziwill later told Thomson and Kristen Taekman. "She asked me if I hired a ghostwriter ... Who asks that? ... Did she just question my credibility and career? ... It's the worst thing you could say to a writer." The wives, of course, took sides, which resulted in Thompson ordering Drescher's image consultant friend, Amanda Sanders, to "deck" her.

"I want to resolve this. I want to be peacemaker," said Singer.

Thompson showed her resentment by not inviting Drescher to her husband and her 10-year anniversary party. An offended Singer boycotted the party.

"Ramona's a pot stirrer," Thomson said after hearing the news at her own party. She added that it's impossible to avoid "that Singer stinger" for long.
