'Transformers 4: Age of Extinction' News: Optimus Prime Death Hinted At In Imagine Dragon Lyrics ? [VIDEO]

A new trailer for 'Transformers 4: Age of Extinction' features music by Imagine Dragons and a dinobot breathing fire.

On May 13 the announcement of Imagine Dragons featuring on the soundtrack of Transformers 4: Age of Extinction was made with a new clip which featured the film's trailer with the band's music.

First Look At New Dinobots Sludge And Snarl Revealed?

The few new things fans might pick up on, one of which is a spectacular sequence of grimlock spitting out fire.

The trailer is set to the music of Imagine Dragons who are set to play live promoting the film in Hong Kong very soon. The band composed a brand new track for the film titled Battlecry.

"No one can save you now. The king is down. It's do or die,' go the lyrics.

It seems like the band is alluding to Optimus Prime when suggesting that the "the king" is down.

Transformers 4: Age of Extinction footage, which was revealed by Universal in Las Vegas on March 24, hinted at Prime's death.

John Goodman and Ken Watanbe Join The Cast Of Transformers 4 At Last Minute? 

The 15 minute clip stitched up a bunch of highlights and plot twists of the film. One of the most dramatic scenes that is being reported is that of a severly injured Optimus Prime and Cade Yeager's (Mark Wahlberg) daughter, Tessa (Nicola Peltz) being kidnapped. Both these scenes seem to hint at and corroborate rumors surrounding the film. It had been suggested that Optimus Prime might die in the fourth installment of the action thriller.

In November last year, a video from the film set in Hong Kong, leaked online, alluded to the death of Optimus Prime.

All Dinobot Figures Revealed

Judging by the translation of the voice-over in the clip it seemed like Optimus Prime was saying his farewells to Cade and the Autobots, asking them to take the mission forward without him:

"There remains a price on my head, and I risk endangering you if I stay. Cade when you find the remaining stones, mark one as my soul. Defend this family Autobots, as they have you, goodbye, don't forget me."

Transformers: Age of Extinction will hit theaters on June 27, 2014.
