On May 13, Arrow's executive producer, Marc Guggenheim, dished about the finale of season 2 of the CW series and also spoke about the fate of Oliver and Felicity's relationship.

Slade's 'Specific Target' Will Comes As A 'Big Surprise To Everyone' In Finale?

Guggenheim spoke to TVGuide about what fans can expect from the conclusion of the season and how things will unravel for Oliver and Felicity in the finale. The producer seems to be preparing fans for an emotional rollercoaster when it comes to moments shared by the duo in the finale.

"Those moments are one of the core elements of the show. We saw that even when Felicity was flirting with Barry, there was still this connection with Oliver," he said. "There will be a couple moments between Oliver and Felicity that I think will surprise people, anger others, make people weep. If you're a fan of those moments, you're definitely going to want to see the finale, and you're going to want to stick around all the way to the end."
